HAAGA-HELIA University Of Applied Sciences (Finnish: HAAGA-HELIA ammattikorkeakoulu, Swedish: HAAGA-HELIA yrkeshögskola; formerly Helsinki Business Polytechnic, Helia) is one of Finland's largest business polytechnic (Ammattikorkeakoulu in Finnish). It is an open polytechnic, owned by a foundation, which is run by Helsinki's Business-life. Helia-building number 1, located in Pasila. Other premises are located in Haaga, Malmi, Vallila, Porvoo and Vierumäki. Helia offers education on Business Economics, Information technology, Management Assistant Education, Communications and Tourism Education, Journalism, vocational teacher education programmes and languages. There are about 10,500 students in HAAGA-HELIA. There are about 700 staff at HAAGA-HELIA of which nearly 400 are full-time teachers.[3]

Research and Business Development Centre

Helia's Research and Business Development Centre is producing tailor-made training services to associations and companies. The training is tailored to meet the needs of the individual company by a variety of short-term courses and longer programmes for business operations development, sales training and IT training. The majority of the programmes are executed in cooperation with customers.

The Helia MBA

The Helia MBA is a part-time program designed for business professionals seeking deeper understanding of the wide spectrum of management issues. The optimal combination of online and contact learning allows you flexibility to adjust studying with career and private life. The program is provided in co-operation with international partner universities.
